Márk Mihályfi
Lead
A founding member of Budapest Orchestra Project, Mihályfi is a graduate of the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest. He participated in masterclasses held by the likes of Jeroen Berwaerts, Eran Reemy and Gábor Boldoczki. After a two-season tenure at the Danubia Orchestra, he joined the Hungarian Army Band and Big Band in 2022. Since 2019 he has also been a member of the orchestras of the Madách Musical Theatre and the Comedy Theater of Budapest.
Gergő Bille
One of the most sought after session trumpeters in Budapest, Bille won many important jazz competitions during his university years, including the MÜPA Budapest Jazz Showcase and the Czech Jazz Contest.
He regularly performs with Hungary's leading pop artists at venues such the Papp László Arena, MVM Dome and Budapest Park. Besides Budapest Orchestra Project he is also a member of the Modern Art Orchestra big band and Group'n'Swing. With the latter, he has performed at the 2020 World Expo in Dubai, and the 2025 World Expo in Osaka.


Ádám Rozbora
Trumpeter Ádám Rozbora is one of the top brass educators in the Budapest area. Each year, his students and ensembles are the recipients numerous prizes at multiple national level competitions. Mentored by the Hungarian jazz trumpet great, Kornél Fekete-Kovács, Rozbora now leads the Krammer Big Band, with which he was invited to perform in Finland and Slovakia, and hosts the annual Csömör Big Band Weekend with guest ensembles from Hungary and abroad. He also leads the Vivo Brass Quintet , with which
he has toured in Italy twice. Rozbora is a
Van Laar Trumpets artist.
Gábor Hammer
One of the finest young jazz trumpeters in Hungary, Hammer hails from a musical family, with his father introducing him to the instrument. He is currently completing his studies at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music. Despite his young age, he has already performed with some of
the capital's top professional ensembles such as the BJC Big Band, the Budapest Scoring Orchestra, and is currently the youngest member of the Modern Art Orchestra big band. He was an active participant in a masterclass held by Austrian trumpet great Thomas Gansch, whom he also performed with. In the summer of 2025 he won the I. Szabolcs Ducsai Jazz Trumpet Competition, juried by Hungary's top jazz brass players and the trumpet section of the Duke Ellington Orchestra.
